One of the very first times I asked someone if there was something I could pray for them about, I was terrified. Usually, I have no problem talking people, even grown-ups, but apparently when it came to God-related questions, I was up a creek. My family and I were at a restaurant, and the waitress was being very attentive. Then, it was one of those moments when you can obviously feel the Holy Spirit telling you to present God to them.

I fought with myself for a good thirty minutes until I finally got the courage to ask her if there was something I could pray for her about. Later I realized that God didn't ask me to do anything alone, He will be right there with me to do His work. But He was asking me to take the first baby step.
It took the waitress a minute to realize what I was saying, but when she did, she crouched by my chair almost in tears. Her parents lived in Mexico and her mom was sick, enough so that she asked a stranger to pray about it. I didn’t realize how much me caring would mean to her. Honestly, it was terrifying the first time I asked that question, but as time went on, it became easier.
