I am excited to share this story with you guys, because it has been on my heart to tell it. Hopefully it will encourage you that God is working everywhere. Not long ago, I was going dress shopping with my mom for a friend's birthday party, and there was an older lady employee that was helping us. She first appeared to have no personality. Her answers were either yes or no, and she didn't smile.
But when I had finally chosen my dress and we were walking out of the dressing rooms and towards the check out, my mom and I thanked her for her help. My mom already past the woman, so she didn't see the faint smile the lady gave when someone had taken the time to thank her. It was then I realized I may have judged her too quickly, disregarding what John 7:24 says. "Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment." ESV.

So, when I went to pass her, I stopped and asked her if there was some way I could pray for her this week. She watched me in silence for a moment, before asking me to wait while she helped another customer. Not a minute later, she was back, and she was on the verge of tears. Her nephew had just died, and her son had come home from the army with PTSD. At this point, she
was crying.
She was so torn by sadness and worry; she couldn't converse like normal. I am so glad God gave me the courage to ask her, otherwise her grief would have kept building up. God gives all of us the strength to share his gospel if we are willing to trust him.
It is important for us to read and share these stories, because they encourage us that our efforts are working. So, if you have any stories, whether you feel like they are important or not, I am sure someone needs to hear them and be encouraged. Thank you for reading. If you have any comments, please state them below. God bless.
