Easy Art Doodles for Everyone 🎨

Did you know that most people keep gospel tracts that look like they took time to make? I mean, it makes sense. If someone gave you a card for your birthday, would you be more inclined to keep the handmade card or the storebought card with a printed note inside?

About a year ago, I spent time handwriting out the gospel on a piece of notepaper, and I decorated it will all sorts of doodles. I can sketch, but I CANNOT doodle. So, most of the art on the card was simple and a bit sloppy. But I had put my heart into it, so I decided to hand them out anyway.

I gave one of them to a cashier at Kohles, and I remember her surprise when I handed it to her. "I made this for you, and I want you to have it!" I handed it to her and walked away, but I saw the surprise on her face. She stared at it, turning it in her hands, and ran her finger over my design. She looked up at me, and I smiled before she looked back down at the tract in her hands. She turned it around again before slipping it next to the cash register.

I've done this before with our printed gospel tracts. It does the job when you need to get the word out to a lot of people, but when you have the time, it makes it so much more worth it to doodle on the tracts and make it more personal. People don't hesitate to throw something away that is printed and not personal, but the moment they see something handmade, it matters to them, and they will pause.

So, below I have pictures showing the step-by-step process on how I did these simple doodles! Hopefully they will give you ideas of your own! If you have any other idea, message me through the chat box with your doodle ideas or pictures!
