Will You Be the One?

With everything happening in the middle east right now, it is clear God is on the move. And that we Christians are running out of time on this earth. As the Bible is coming true all around us, now is the perfect time for us to launch into sharing the gospel overtime. Right? But it can be tempting to sit on our hands and stare up at the sky, waiting for Jesus to come get us. And forget about those who don't even know they should be looking up towards heaven. However, Jesus said that He isn't breaking through Israel's hardened heart until the last gentile hears about Him. And why couldn't you be the one to share and pray with that last gentile?
"I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in." Romans 11:25
I know I've mentioned this in past articles, but I've been incredibly busy, and it's been really hard to find time to go out of my way to share the gospel. At least that's what I've been telling myself. And I am fooling myself. It's hard to admit, but I am fooling myself so hard. Life might be busy, but am I really trying to convince myself that I can't share the gospel where I am being busy?

Sharing in the Work Place?
I work at a horse ranch and let me just say they are not the most Christian people. They cuss like sailors, vape, gossip, and throw each other under the bus the entire time. While I'm working there are plenty of opportunities to talk to someone and ask them if I can pray for them. Yeah... I can think of one young girl who is hungry to hear of God, and a co-worker who is a Muslim and doesn't know what she believes. Both are looking for truth that I know, and I don't even have to go out of my way to talk to them.
The last thing I want to do here is guilt trip you to the point where you shut off, because honestly it can be terribly hard to share the gospel in the workplace. But maybe sharing the gospel at work looks different than anywhere else. Maybe it has more to do with asking then telling? I have some ideas how to share the gospel in the workplace, and I would be curious to hear what your thoughts on it are.
Last year, I was sharing the gospel at the beach, and I came across this group of girls that were Muslim. I remember walking up to them and struggling to know how to start the conversation. It was hard enough to walk up to someone who had no belief then walking up to someone who wore their faith so openly. It was honestly intimidating. I can't even remember how I started that conversation, but I remember one thing: I did not do it well.
There were several points in the conversation I was staring at them in awkward silence trying to figure out what to say next, because quite frankly at the time I knew nothing about the Muslim faith. Maybe this is how you feel with the people at your work. You don't really know what to say because you don't know what they believe.
Although the conversation may not have been the smoothest I've ever done, I did learn a valuable lesson. When you don't know, ask. When I was younger, I was a know it all, so this was definitely hard for me to wrap my head around. But if I didn't know what they believed, I decided to just ask, and finally my conversation with those girls began to go somewhere. I asked questions, and they asked questions back, and soon we were in a place where I was able to show them where they might not understand.
I've used this method at work before, when I was talking to the younger girl. Asking questions was by far the best way for me to understand where she was coming from and talking with them. And it gave me freedom to relax as well.
You might be busy and not have time to go out of your way, but maybe that one person Jesus is waiting to come to him is that coworker you see every day. You never know. Maybe you will be the one to share with them, and even if you're not, heaven will be rejoicing, and you can know you have gained a new brother or sister in Christ for eternity.
